For ZepDesign the first part of a software development is to extract the customers’ business needs and requirements. Once the general requirements are gathered from the client, an analysis of the scope of the development will be determined and clearly stated. At this point we will analyze and if found, advice changes of incomplete or contradictory requirements.

ZepDesign will make a preliminary document and software design based on customers’ business needs and requirements, and based on our own research. This is needed to reduce possibility of unclear requirements at the start of development. This document helps reduce ambiguity in project requirements.

The customer will be involved and informed during the whole development process.

(Implementation, testing and documenting)Implementation is the part of the process where software is designed, developed and actually coded.

Software testing is an integral and important phase of the software development process. This part of the process ensures that defects are recognized as soon as possible..

Documenting the internal design of software for the purpose of future maintenance and enhancement is done throughout development. This may also include the writing of an API, be it external or internal. The software engineering process chosen by ZepDesign will determine how much internal documentation (if any) is necessary.

Deployment or distribution into a production environment will be implemented after the software is tested and approved by customer for release. Deployment of the software in production involves: installation, customer’s customization, testing, and period of evaluation.

After deployment we offer software training to the end users and software support.

After evaluation period we offer software maintenance. This is needed to solve the eventual faults in the codes that are not discovered in the evaluation period. New requirements or missed software functionality may force redesign of the software.
